What You Do:
- Get your catfish fillets from Authentic Louisiana Seafood
- Soak in buttermilk for at least 3 hours. For added spice add some Creole
mustard, cayenne pepper and salt.
- After marinating, slowly bring your oil to 350° in a large fryer
- Dredge your fillets through a seasoned flour mixture or any coating you like – corn meal etc
- Place catfish in oil until they turn golden brown
- Serve with a tartar sauce and or Louisiana hot sauce
